This newly refurbished home, just a short walk into the centre of Queenstown, provides the perfect spot to be close to all the action this vibrant town has to offer.
Ruru Retreat has two seperate living areas. The main open plan living and dining space is lake facing with large windows maximising the panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountain Range. With a log fireplace it provides the ideal ambience to cozy up to in winter after a day spent skiing on the nearby fields.
The second living room with TV is an ideal space to keep the younger ones entertained.
Both of the bedrooms come with their en-suite bathroom making it a great option for two couples as well as a small family.
Ruru Retreat is super warm home in the winter, with all the modern amenities you would expect.

Bridget's home was perfect. We all felt right at home and it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. Views of the Remarkable Mountains were awesome. We could easily walk into town and the Skyline. We were very happy and agreed that it was worth every cent.

Our stay was wonderful. It felt even better than I imagined from the pictures. Little touches like dimmable lights everywhere (even the beautiful master bathroom) made it feel luxurious. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic! A perfect end to each day of adventuring. Everything was very comfortable, considered & beautiful.

What an amazing home. We couldn't fault this home, location or host. I could live out my years in this home. Amazing new home, squeaky clean, new appliances and very clean with the most amazing views. We were very comfortable and felt very safe. Especially loved the fireplace inside and outside while we were in the hot tub. A big thank you to Bridget for her amazing home. We will be back again to come and stay in 2025.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. It was a cold and snowy day in Queenstown over the weekend and the house was very cozy and warm. Also, the location was ideal, with a close walk to the town center. We would love to stay again in the future. Thanks for hosting us!
